The Spanish National Cancer Research Centre (CNIO) has announced up to 11 vacancies for undergraduate students to work in a lab at the CNIO over the summer in the Life Sciences or related subjects (e.g. Biology, Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Bioinformatics).
Each student will be matched with a specific laboratory based on the student’s interest and background. The student will be working under the supervision of the group/unit leader or a member of the research group. The participants will attend a series of seminars given by faculty members and researchers from the CNIO. Students will be required to present the results of their summer projects in a special session to be held at the end of the program.
Who can apply:
Undergraduate students of any nationality who are in their final two years of studies in the Life Sciences or related subjects (e.g. Biology, Biomedicine, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Bioinformatics) can apply.
CNIO in Madrid, Spain
7 weeks (June 23 to August 14, 2014)
One return ticket from the student’s home town to Madrid + Subsidized breakfasts and lunches (Although last year participants were offered a stipend of 600 €/month, but no such thing is mentioned for this year program)
