Laptop WiFi Hotspot

In this post I will show you how to convert Windows 8 into Hotspot within no time and without  use of  any third party software . I have used screen-shots for your easy understanding. Just follow the steps as under :

1) Open up your network and sharing center from the control panel.

2) Open the properties of the present active connection which you want to convert into WiFi.

3) Now open the Sharing tab from the top left corner and select the first check box under Internet Connection Sharing " Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection".

4) Open your command prompt in Admin mode (specifically Admin mode which is different from the User mode which we generally use). To open Admin mode Press Ctrl + F and then search from apps command prompt, now right click on Command Prompt and at the bottom options would be displayed from which choose option Run as Administrator .

5) In Command Prompt type :
     netsh wlan set hostednetwork mode=allow ssid=username key=password
(where username and password are your desired values) . It displays as shown

6) Finally type the following command to turn on or start the network :
    netsh wlan start hostednetwork

7) You are done, and now anyone can access your network just by connecting to your shared network.

Similarly to turn off or stop the network execute the command :
    netsh wlan stop hostednetwork
